Fire main installation

Class A fire hose reel system

Class A hose reels are intended primarily for in-building use and first-response fire fighting. They are easy to access and designed to be used by both building staff and fire services.

Class B fire hose system

Class B systems are intended for trained users and the fire service. They are suited to larger fires that require greater water volumes and longer hoses.

Wet riser system

A wet riser is a fire main where the pipework is permanently filled with water. The system is always ready and water flows immediately when the valve is opened. Wet risers are used in buildings where there is no risk of freezing — heated commercial, residential and public buildings.
